FAQ
How can you pay?
Payment details can be found
here.
What is a vector drawn logo?
Vector drawings can be scalable to any
size without any loss in quality. This makes them ideal
for company logos or other objects that have to be resized
frequently. More
information
How long does it take?
The first set of logo proofs will be ready within 3 days.
After that, each revision will usually be completed within
24 hours, more likely within 12 hours.
So the whole logo design process depends on how many revisions
you require. On average we usually have the final logo design
completed by the third round of revisions, but we'll happily
carry on fine tuning your logo until you’re completely
satisfied with the final result.
Obviously the whole process from start to finish will depend
on how quick you reply back with your comments, after each
stage.
However, if you're in a hurry, let us know. Depending on
our workload and the kind of logo that you require, we may
be able to prioritise your logo and place you at the front
of the queue!
How can you view the first concepts?
We'll send all the design proofs by email at each stage
of the logo design process. You can examine the proofs at
your leisure. When you're ready to proceed further. you
can contact us again with further instructions. We recognise
that the decision about a logo may not be yours alone, so
there's no hurry for you to reply to us. We don't put a
time limit on the process, unlike a lot of other logo design
companies.
How do you receive your files?
All of the final files will be sent by email usually as
a zip file. Sometimes we may send 2 separate emails, depending
on the file size. You can also receive a CD with the files
on, if you request it, for an extra £5 or $10US. The
draft proofs will also be sent by email.
What files are included in your logo design package?
JPG, PNG, GIF , PDF, EPS. AlI GIF files will be supplied
in 8 different sizest. For more information on the different
file types click here.
Who owns the copyright?
You do! We only reserve the right to show your logo in
our portfolio. More
about copyright
Do we use clip art?
We can guarantee we never use clipart, unlike many of the
cheaper logo design companies. We can't, guarantee that
there won't be logos which are similar as there are millions
of logo designs around the world. But as our logos are all
custom designed from scratch it would be very unlikely that
there will another design exactly the same.
What is the difference between a print
logo and a web logo?
Print logos require a much higher resolution
and need to be saved in certain standard print formats.
Some of the most common and universal print formats for
print jobs are TIFF, EPS, and AI (Illustrator).
By creating a logo in these file formats, the logo can
be opened up and printed even without having the original
software application that the logo was created in.
Web logos require a much lower resolution (since they only
need to be displayed on screen). This helps your webpage
load quicker. That's why they are not a good choice for
printing, as the quality will appear very blurred or jagged
on paper.
What if you don't like the first set of logo samples?
No problem! You can
either ask for a refund or you can simply give us some more
information and we can try and create something that you
like from the new input that you give us. We don't always
get it right first time round! Unlike a lot of our competitors,
we don’t restrict you to only 2 rounds of revisions.
We want you to be completely happy with your design and
will work with you until the logo is completed to your satisfaction.
Can you have more than one of the final logo designs?
You can, but we charge half the price
of the current "Basic" package price for each
extra logo design.
What information should you have on your stationery?
There are legal requirements depending on what kind of
business you have. This stationery
information guide should have all the answers for you.
